KLAY FRNDS Studio
the studio was always intended to be a space for everyone to feel welcome, a place where friends get to touch clay, to spend time with each other, a place to experiment, play and be creative.
That is why we created KLAY FRNDS Studio, mainly a pin on Google Maps, but also a real place where you can come and hang out with us.
We are a little collective of regular members but we love to organize events, workshops and opening the studio on a semi regular basis for people to create their own ceramics.

Join us for a joyful ceramic evening, make new friends, learn how to create your first pieces with clay and support the leap of faith that was necessary to open the studio!
You never touched clay before? This is the perfect place to start. I will introduce you to the basic techniques of hand building, you will have time to create one piece and I will finish the glazing for you. The piece will be ready for pick up in 3 weeks.
(you already have a bit of experience with clay, this is still a great place to spend a fun evening together!)
You want to paint your piece (and not only get it glazed in one color)? we are introducing a new package. Come to the Friends’ evening create your piece and join us for an open Studio session to paint you piece, book the package for both now <3

Join the open studio to paint on your pieces after a friends’ evening.
You just want to paint “your style” on cups or plate blanks, also possible. (supplement apply depending on the chosen vessel)

Join Csaba in this clay workshop and, with his guidance, create your own small figurines. In this 2-hour session, you'll learn the very basics of sculpting (tiny figure-making) and will leave with your new companion (pick up in 3-4 weeks).
You can make a small version of your pet, favorite animals, or you can just let your hands create something fantastic freely.
Beginner friendly.
Capacity is limited to approximately 10 people.

Get your hands dirty and your souls creative with a medley of different techniques - mark making and ceramic. You will be guided by Devorah Livadna in decorating your own two ceramic tiles loosely inspired by the medieval encaustic technique, incorporating sgraffito and relief, in this 3 hour workshop. We begin with looking at pattern and forms, drawing our ideas out then working them into the clay. Included is a bonus clay making activity.
beginner friendly, no drawing or clay experience is required.
